Our Beginning

The Pop-Up Collaborative started as a seasonal holiday pop-up, but due to its popularity we decided to keep the retail space open all year round. The collaborative is very inclusive, the only criteria to become part of it is to be a woman or minority company that creates a product. All members are based in the DMV area, and include artists, candle makers, clothing designers, and jewelry makers.

“A favorite African proverb ‘If you want to go fast go alone, If you want to go far go together’ is the inspiration behind the Pop-Up Collaborative. We are a space that uplifts and supports women and minority owned brands because together we are stronger. ” — Rahama Wright, Founder

Our Mission

The Pop-Up Collaborative’s goal is to address the market barriers for women and minority owned brands by providing a space for owners to sell their products and increase their revenue and brand exposure. The collaborative’s community provides collaboration, support, and creative inspiration.
